China Girl, David Bowie

Anche David Bowie, come tanti altri, ha subito il fascino di una China Girl. China Girl, che resta forse la più nota canzone occidentale dedicata ad una ragazza cinese, ad un amore internazionale, è stata scritta a quattro mani da David Bowie e Iggy Pop nei lontani anni berlinesi, e ripresa da Bowie più tardi, nel 1983, nel suo celeberrimo album Let's Dance.

Non tutti sanno che il pluripremiato video in cui Bowie vive la sua storia d'amore con la sua China Girl, è stato girato nella Chinatown di Melbourne, e che la bella ragazza cinese del video è Geeling Ng.
